Cooking in clay pots in an al fresco setting, tropical paradise and Sri Lanka’s fine range of flavors are presented with inimitable style at The Paddy Island. Guests are encouraged to participate in the process, including scraping coconuts for coconut milk and grinding sambols on an antique miris gala (chilli stone). Afterwards, guests may enjoy a leisurely lunch in the Ambalama of their freshly cooked traditional Sinhala fare, and take home the recipes of the day
